–  Swami Sivananda

This course startet last weekend, it is still possible to join.

The course offers practice and insight into various types of meditation according to the four paths of yoga:

Raja Yoga meditation: channelling the thoughts from relaxed attention into a specific focus, so that the mind can eventually melt into the peace of inner silence

Bhakti Yoga meditation: a philosophical concept of divinity; repeating mantras of various deities. Explanation and contemplation of their inner meaning.

Jnana Yoga meditation: the philosophy of the cosmic sound OM; guided meditation on OM

Karma: meditation and action: contemplative study of a few verses from the Bhagavad Gita on the wisdom of action and inaction.

“Regular meditation opens the avenues of intuitional knowledge, makes the mind calm and steady and brings the Yoga student in contact with the Soul.” –  Swami Sivananda
